How to use the factory reset button for restoring factory default settings?
Before restoring factory default settings you must be clear that the factory reset button will clear all the settings.
Here are the most important steps for restoring factory default settings:
Step 1: Add a paper clip into the hole of the factory reset button and press this to the extent until the power LED starting blinking to the color of amber.
Step 2: Release the button. By doing so, all the LED’s will turn off for around three seconds. After this the power LED will be changed to solid amber color for around 30 seconds. After this the power LED lights will turn into solid green. Now, after this the extender will restore into the factory default settings.

Method to erase the extender settings and returning to its factory settings
Step 1: using your system, just open your web browser
Step 2: enter the web address which is http://www. Mywifiext.net
Step 3: Enter the details of the username and password. The username is admin and the password is password.
Step 4: Select the option of maintenance à backup settings
Step 5: Make the selection of the erase button. You will get the pop-up screen
Step 6: Check for your decision and this will restart your browser which will take around a minute.
