LAN Settings for TP-Link Archer C55 AC1200 Router

If you are living in a large space or the office that you are managing has poor internet connectivity, the primary reason behind it is a single router setup that is unable to cover the whole space. The easiest and simplest solution that you should go for is to install an extender. It will receive the signal from the host router and then transmit them to its full range.

Another reason behind poor connection might be the older router that you are still using. The dated routers aren’t equipped with any advanced security features and you will also not get to closely monitor the traffic. We would highly recommend you to upgrade to a premium router that has some advanced security features such as MAC address filtering, parental controls, etc.

These features focus on keeping the unwanted devices away from the network. The TP Link router setup will also offer you to set up a guest network that will create a separate SSID for the unknown devices.

The MAC address filtering will let you block the devices that you don’t want on your network. In this blog, we are going to discuss the steps that you need to follow to configure the LAN settings. Apart from these security features, the portal will also let you monitor the connected devices.
